 A recipe for cauliflower crust pizza with cheese, tomato sauce, and toppings of your choice that serves four:


Ingredients: For the crust:

1 medium head of cauliflower
1 egg
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tsp dried oregano
Salt and pepper, to taste

For the toppings:

1/2 cup tomato sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Toppings of your choice (e.g. sliced mushrooms, sliced olives, chopped bell peppers, etc.)

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Cut the cauliflower into florets and pulse them in a food processor until they resemble rice.
Place the cauliflower rice in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for 5-6 minutes, or until it's soft.
Transfer the cooked cauliflower rice to a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out as much liquid as possible.
In a mixing bowl, combine the squeezed cauliflower rice, egg, shredded mozzarella cheese, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Transfer the cauliflower mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and shape it into a pizza crust.
Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until it's slightly golden and firm to the touch.
Remove the crust from the oven and spread the tomato sauce on top. Add the shredded mozzarella cheese and your desired toppings.
Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
