Chocolate Lava Cake



Here is a delicious dessert recipe for you to try:


Chocolate Lava Cake

Ingredients:

4 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 large egg yolks
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
Whipped cream, fresh raspberries, or mint leaves, for serving (optional)


Instructions:


💨. Preheat the oven to 425°F. Grease 4 ramekins (3.5 to 4 oz size) with butter.

💨. Melt the chocolate and butter together in a double boiler or in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth. Let the mixture cool for a few minutes.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, and egg yolks until pale and fluffy.

💨. Fold the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture until well combined.

💨. Sift the flour and salt over the chocolate mixture and fold it in gently until just combined.

💨. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.

Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges of the cakes are firm but the centers are still soft.
